Western Slope Industries is the successor corporation to Southern Tool Company, which was founded in 1954 in Louisiana. WSI has been in Grand Junction, Colorado since 1983 and was re-incorporated as a Colorado Corporation in 2003. As of April 2016 we introduced a company name change: WSI Global. “The new name is a fresh look for the WSI brand and better represents our position in the marketplace”.

With complete in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities, new equipment includes folder/gluers, prefeeders, case packing equipment, paper tube core saws, bottle/can packaging machines and custom designed machinery. In addition to new equipment, we offer our customers previously owned machinery in 4-levels of conditions: used, reconditioned, rebuilt and remanufactured.

During our thirty three years in business, we have acquired the only two remaining US-based builders of this type of machinery. The complete line of Staude gluing and windowing equipment was purchased from Pure Pak in August 1992. The folding carton assets of the International Paper Box Machine Company and Multifold International, of Nashua, New Hampshire were purchased in April 2003.

WSI Global currently services a customer base of around 3000 customers worldwide. We sell parts and service for an estimated 4500 machines currently in service. Our major customers change each year in volume due to their annual new equipment requirements, but include most of the major converting companies. Historically these are MeadWestvaco, Graphic Packaging, Evergreen Packaging, International Paper Company, Rock-Tenn Corporation and several others.
